My story

Thank you for visiting my Macmillan 'Swim It' page. I’ll be 60 in June, and I feel privileged to be able to celebrate such a big birthday. Like so many of us, I’ve lost friends and family members who never got to celebrate their 60th birthdays, so I plan to celebrate as much as I possibly can! As well as doing lots of lovely things, I’ll also be swimming 21 miles during June and July to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I'll be doing all my swimming at Lake 32 in Gloucestershire and I feel so grateful to have this gorgeous spot just 7 minutes' drive from my house. If you're a regular, I'll see you there on one of my swims. I want to raise £660, and I’d be so grateful if you can help me reach my goal.
